Shantipur City Guide
Santipur is a city and a municipality in the Ranaghat subdivision of Nadia district in West Bengal. The places is famous for the fort, also known as Daak-Garh which was constructed by Raja Krishnachandra. Santipur is also famous for glory of the Indian handloom fabric. The weaving activity was initiated in the beginning of the 15th century.
